Leptopelis yaldeni is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family, endemic to Ethiopia.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland and rivers, and it is threatened by habitat loss.

It is named in honour of Derek Yalden[1].
